Install STORAQ and set up your counter
Start with the official download, one device, and a sample receipt.
1. Download directly from STORAQ
Android: download the APK from this website and open it. Android may ask you to allow this browser or file manager to install this app; review the file source and turn that permission off afterwards. Keep Play Protect enabled.
Windows: download the Windows installer, close STORAQ, then run it. Existing installations use the update flow. No Google Play or Apple App Store account is needed for these downloads.
2. Finish the first setup online
Create or sign in to your account, verify your email, and set up your shop while connected. Check the shop name, currency, prices, and staff permissions before entering real sales.
Add a few clearly labelled sample products. Complete a sample sale and inspect its quantities, discounts, currency and total before starting daily work.
3. Check your printer before buying
STORAQ generates receipts and PDF output. Printer compatibility depends on the operating system, driver, paper size, and connection. A Bluetooth connection alone does not establish compatibility with the system print dialog.
On Windows, install the manufacturer’s driver and print a system test page first. On Android, check whether the manufacturer provides an Android print service that appears in the system print dialog. Use an 80 mm receipt layout where supported.
4. Print a useful sample
Choose a receipt with Arabic and English names, a long item name, quantities, totals, and a QR code. Check text direction, cropping, paper width and QR scanning from the printed page.
No printer or scanner model is currently listed as physically verified by STORAQ. Before purchasing hardware, send Support its exact model, your Android or Windows version, paper width, and USB, Bluetooth or network connection. We will distinguish confirmed results from untested configurations.
5. Check scanning and offline work
For a USB or Bluetooth scanner configured as a keyboard, focus the barcode input, scan a known product and verify the result. Camera scanning needs camera permission and suitable lighting.
After online setup and syncing, disconnect one device and try a sample counter sale. Check its receipt and pending sync status, reconnect, and confirm it appears once. Independent offline tills are not a shared local network inventory system.
6. Share your shop and keep it updated
Share the store QR link to let customers browse the published catalog in their browser without signing in. Keep products online, approved and available; ordering and chat continue in STORAQ.
Android updates are installed from a newer official APK. Windows updates use the installer or the app’s update controls. Store changes should finish syncing before changing devices or uninstalling the app. Browser catalog access also works on iPhones; there is no native iOS download offered here.
