Thermal receipts, PDF exports and controlled refunds
Keep a receipt trail from the first counter sale to the next customer question.
Create a sale in STORAQ, print a thermal receipt or export a PDF, and return to the transaction when a customer needs help. Receipt appearance and available branding options depend on the store configuration and plan.
Refund workflows are tied to recorded items and permissions. Supported online-order returns select quantities, verify the cashier approval PIN and update the transaction and stock records. Recording a refund in STORAQ does not itself transfer money through a bank or card provider.
How the workflow fits together
- Complete a sale and review the itemized receipt.
- Print or export using the installed app and your configured equipment.
- For an eligible return, select the items, verify access and record the approved quantities.
Common questions
What does the receipt playground show?
Create a sample sale, open Receipts and inspect its total and sync state. You can download a text receipt or try an owner-approved sample refund.
Does a sample refund change inventory?
Yes, in the browser model the returned sample quantities go back into stock and the sample sales report updates. No real payment is made.
